A 1984 toyota van and the front timming cover and seals are leaking oil, how can I fix or how much 2 have fix?

Toyota dealership said that my front timming cover and seals are leaking oil and the rear main seal is leaking oil, how much would this cost me to have fix else where or how can I fix myself?

84 toyota

uhhh all that to be done by a repair shop or dealership may end up costing you more than the van is worth

First and formost, is there oil on the ground where you park for longer then three hours? If not its a scam, if there is you would also see oil on the side of the engine with the hood open, you can however fix it yourself with some basic knowledge and a manual.
It's true, this may cost more than the van is worth. Oil leaking from the timing belt cover could cam seal or front main seal. Either way, it's basically a timing belt job. $600. Rear main seal means the transmission has to come off, another $400.
~$1000 probably. Tranny needs to come off for the rear main seal. You can fix it if you are willing to take the tranny out. Front seals are easier.
