My truck is leaking oil in the front of the motor. What does tt mean?

it is a 98 ford expedition. please helpMy truck is leaking oil in the front of the motor. What does tt mean?
It means big trouble if you drive it. If you can't visually see where it is coming from and able to fix it, then get a mechanic to check it out for you.My truck is leaking oil in the front of the motor. What does tt mean?
If by front of the motor you mean the bottom front then you could either have an oil pan gasket leak, front main seal leak, or timing cover leak. Oil pan gasket is easy, timing cover takes a little more time, the front main seal will take a little effort as well but anyone with engine building knowledge could knock it out relatively easy depending on what the motor is and what it is in. hope this helps.
A hose may have came undone, but other than you should check the oil rings (seals) on your motor... the seal may be going bad causing leaking but i recommend changing your oil why your at it replace the oil filter, oil rings, and everything should be back tip-top.
Front seal or timing or timing chain cover or oil filter or valve cover
If it's at the top it's a valve cover gasket.

If it's at the bottom, it's the oil pan gasket..
somewhere your engine is leaking!
Front seal on the crankshaft is leaking.
valve cover gasket...
that there's sugar in the gas tank, maybe an ex boyfriend

it means u should c a mechanic cuz it could b bad
