I got a (1995 Z28) and i was just wondering as with any car car's are gonna leak oil no matter what?

just because they sit in a place for a while thats natural/normal right? now i got a 1995 Z28 and it leaks oil not a whole lot but it does leak keep in mind it does have over 140,000 miles on it so if your car leaks a ton of oil does that usually mean you have gaskets or somethings broken/worn out? so if i were to have a brand new car and park it in my driveway and it was parked for a while would it be normal to look under the car and see a couple small oil spots?I got a (1995 Z28) and i was just wondering as with any car car's are gonna leak oil no matter what?
Many LT1's will leak past the Rear Main Seal. Its pretty old, that's my guess. Just don't let your oil run low if you aren't inclined to fix it.

At this age, its pretty common.I got a (1995 Z28) and i was just wondering as with any car car's are gonna leak oil no matter what?
It's hard to keep a vehicle with that many miles on it from leaving spots on the carport. But cars are not supposed to leak oil. If I bought a new car and it was leaving spots it'ld go right back to the dealer. but as they get warn it's not uncommon to get spots on the floor. I wouldn't worry about it if it's not leaking enough to have to add oil between changes.
