Last night my car suddenly started leaking muddy oil. The temp gauge rose. Is this a bad head gasket?

all this happened in about 20 seconds. Thank you.Last night my car suddenly started leaking muddy oil. The temp gauge rose. Is this a bad head gasket?
YOU BLEW THE OIL SENDING SWITCH, OR SENSOR, DEPENDING ON THE YEAR OF THE CAR. dON'T DRIVE THAT CHARIOT, THAT LEAKING OIL COULD START A FIRE ON THE EXHAUST PIPES. hAVE IT TOED TO A REPAIR SHOP, AND HAVE THE OIL SENDING SWITCH REPLACED.Last night my car suddenly started leaking muddy oil. The temp gauge rose. Is this a bad head gasket?
Well the ';muddy oil'; was rusty water from poorly maintained cooling system! If you did not continue running even though hot, it may have no damage to engine. After all it could be a leaky hose, bad waterpump, damaged radiator, and a few more uncommon things!

However if you continued to drive, even though the problem may not have started in engine,-- continueing could blow head gasket, or even worse destroy engine, -- if you continue long enough! Engines just don't last long without water in them!
It is either a bad headgasket, cracked cylinder head or cracked block.....get it fixed ASAP, running it with coolant in the oil(muddy oil) will damage the main and rod bearings quickly and cost you a super fortune or even your car if its not worth fixing......
Where is the leak coming from?.. Check your coolant level, and engine oil level.. Also check that your engine oil doesn;t look milky on the dipstick.. It does sound like your engines **** itself.. but its hard to tell from your description... Make sure all your engine belts are in place aswell..
well i dont think so because it happen in 20 seconds...if it was bad it would took like at least 1 minute or probably 53 seconds or sometimes 1 minute so i think its not that bad but you should still be AWARE
Sounds like either a blown head gasket or a cracked/Warped head allowing oil to escape into the cooling system
Yep it sure is.Or a cracked head or block
sounds like your engine blew... better get that checked ASAP!!
