Car leaking oil will it cost alot to repair?

car is a 2000 tiburon. leaking from underneath engine. is it worth reparing?Car leaking oil will it cost alot to repair?
it depends on the leaking places but mostly not more than 100$Car leaking oil will it cost alot to repair?
Very small leaks are normal and need no repair. Larger leaks are first detected using an engine oil dye and black light to find the leak. Then you know how expensive it is to fix the leak. If you've kept up with your vehicle maintenance, any major oil leak repair should be worth it for a 2000 year vehicle. However, you should make sure your transmission was maintained according to the Hyundai maintenance schedule, and that you have had your timing belt changed on schedule.
It depends on were the oil leak is. If it's the rear main seal which seals the crankshaft to the engine block. It could cost a lot, the transmission would have to be removed. It could be oil running down from top of engine, a valve cover may be leaking. Try to locate the leak, starting at top of engine and working your way down until you find it.
It usually costs about 400 to 500 bucks to replace the seals. If it has to have the crank taken out to fix the front seal then maybe 600.A 2000 Tiburon is pretty valuable in the blue book so I'd say yes it's worth fixing.
it,s worth fixing. it,s probably just the valve pan gaskets leaking down or the oil pan is leaking. see if you can snug up the bolts some.
