Where is my motor oil leaking from when it is leaking on to the frame of the car and the skid plate?

Could be anywhere...see a mechanic.Where is my motor oil leaking from when it is leaking on to the frame of the car and the skid plate?
Most likely one of the gaskets in the engine are dryrotted, allowing oil to seep out of the sides or bottom of your engine. Take it to a mechanic and they will find the leak.Where is my motor oil leaking from when it is leaking on to the frame of the car and the skid plate?
Either bad rear seal,or you need to tighten oil filter.Depend on what kind of motor and what kind of car.
The engine.
google it
engine driveshaft seal.........bad
oil leaking on to the frame of the car and the skid plate is coming from above the frame and skidplate. gravity will make the oil go down. wash the engine up and down, run the car, look for oil.
Questions is to vague...there is oil in the engine, transmission, air conditioning pump, power steering pump, transmission lines, or maybe it is some other fluid such as brake fluid, window washer, anti-freeze...........
If you just had the oil changed...it could be residual from the oil filter being spun off. I would check two things...the dipstick to see if it is still full...and the color of the oil leaking compared to the dipstick. If it is black and the dipstick is clear or light brown...it is probably a slow leak or left over from the filter change. lf ack t to sd
