Car leaks oil when running, recently was smoking from exhaust manifold while driving, engine was covrd in oil?

(1992 Plymouth Sundance) So recently i was driving and i noticed that car was smoking under the hood. When i pulled over, there was oil all over the entire engine, just covered. The exhaust manifold was smoking like crazy. I checked for leaks, and there is a slight leak only when the car is running. The actual oil level didn't seem to fluctuate noticeably. Today i just got an oil chaange. So what could be wrong and was getting an oil change a bad idea?Car leaks oil when running, recently was smoking from exhaust manifold while driving, engine was covrd in oil?
actually like the other guy said probably a valve cover gasket, if the leak is above the exhaust manifold, thats more than likely the problem, easy fix.Car leaks oil when running, recently was smoking from exhaust manifold while driving, engine was covrd in oil?
you probably blown a valve pan gasket or the pcv valve is stopped up. i think i would have fixed the oil leak before i got a oil change.
an oil change is NEVER a bad idea. most likely a valve cover gasket.
