How would i know if my head gasket is leaking oil?

i have a 99 dodge intrepid and i think my oil pan gasket is leaking on me but how would i kno if my head gasket is leaking? How would i know if my head gasket is leaking oil?
Okay, well there are several things that can happen if you have a leaking head gasket.

For example, you could be getting coolant in your combustion chamber which gives off a milky exhaust.

You could develop a lack of power during engine operation

Oil could technically mix with the air and fuel in the combustion chamber giving you a black or dark exhaust

Check for leaks around the area, etcHow would i know if my head gasket is leaking oil?
Ok, it's fairly easy to explore this problem, CLEAN YOUR MOTOR.

This makes it a lot easier to locate oil leaks.

No Shop Will REPLACE a head gasket for FREE, unless they caused the problem. It COSTS HUNDREDS of $$ to replace head gaskets in a repair shop.

There is a chance that your valve cover gasket is leaking, you can try tightening up the valve cover bolts a little IF you can see oil tracks coming from that area
Pull out your oil dipstick and see if the oil looks milky, if so then you have a leaking headgasket. Also check the coolant and see if it looks milky or has an oily feel. Usually if the headgasket is leaking the engine will overheat.
i was leaking oil and i took it to jiffy lube and they said it was a bad head gasket and they checked it out and replaced it for free for me.try them and they should help you out
