How do I get out the oil that has leaked onto the garage floor?

My 18 y/o son has been restoring a 67 Firebird in the garage. I'm not talking about a little oil such as an oil leak, but alot, like the whole quart.

Thanks, Budding Mechanic's MomHow do I get out the oil that has leaked onto the garage floor?
This isnt a carpeted garage, is it?

Kitty litter is typically used to soak up oil. As for dark stains left behind, bleach or some other fluid with subtle abrasive nature would gradually fade the stain. How do I get out the oil that has leaked onto the garage floor?
To get the oil off of the garage floor you can use kitty litter. It works wonder.
spread kitty litter all over it. Sweep it up tomorrow.
spray brake parts cleaner on it and wipe it up .if not scrub it with dawn dish soap. good luck russ
kitty litter
kittly litter is a cheep way to go but i go to peop boys and get some oil dry same basick stuff but works a lil better when you pput it down wear a old pair of shoes and sort of rub it in do this till all the pellets shrink down till about dust then let it sit over night ad sweep it away in the am, if that dosent work look on the net for zep products and get some zep a lume form em its for aluminum but does a great job on the floor
Wet/dry vac should be able to safely suck it up... there are probably products you can get that absorb the oil then you take care of that (like carpet cleaner powder you put down to suck up a recently spilled cup of liquid). I would go to somewhere like Auto Zone and ask if they have anything or any suggestions.
Go to your friendly automotive store and get some degreaser. It will take several applications, so be patient. it will finally be back to the original color again. OR you could paint the floor battleship gray. I did that once also at the first house.
Rice hull ash. Works better than kitty litter.
kitty litter can help
Kitty litter works GREAT!!!!!!! Make sure you get the little rocks... The paper kind will blow up real big if water hits it....Sorry about your GARAGE!
cat litter
acid then soap and water
well I know that when it is first spilled you can you kitty litter but I take it that its been there for awhile now. The best suggestion that I have for you is to use Goo Goo Gone it works really well for that sort of stuff and you can find it at hardware stores and possibly your local walmart
