My washer is leaking oil, I was wondering what could be wrong with it?

Washing machines have a gear box that drives the agitator. It contains heavy oil. A seal or gasket is leaking. Call a repairmanMy washer is leaking oil, I was wondering what could be wrong with it?
You probably got a busted head gasket. Check your anti-freeze while you're at it.My washer is leaking oil, I was wondering what could be wrong with it?
It is probably a damaged / worn seal that is causing the leak.
It's the transmission. If it's over five years old there won't be any warrenty left. No matter the brand, repair will equal the price of a new washer.
