I have a vauxhall Nova and when I pull the choke and start the engine it leaks oil. Is this dangerous?

if it leaks oil where it can catch on fire it can be dangerous,id have the leak fixed,ts better than taking a chance on one giving problems,any oil leak isn't good on a car,good luck with it.
