Ive heard that synthetic oil is causing oil leaks in newer vehicles is this true?

was wondering about this have heard from several peopleIve heard that synthetic oil is causing oil leaks in newer vehicles is this true?
I wouldn't think so,most newer cars have synthetic oils in the drive train from the factory.Engine oils are vehicle specific,so use the recommended oil.I use synthetic oil in my truck by the recommended viscosity the manufacture says to use, only in synthetic,i have no problems and no oil leaks, and it now has 62000 miles.Ive heard that synthetic oil is causing oil leaks in newer vehicles is this true?
Absolutely not true, I used synthetic in a variety of vehicles over the last 20+ years, many of my friends use it as well, never a single complaint.

One could argue, since synthetic is an engineered product, having the size of molecules best suited for lubrication, it does not have the smaller molecules like a mineral oil, which is a mixture of very large to very small molecules. The small molecules in mineral oil might be burned off or leak out more readily.
no this is not true. if an engines seals and gaskets are ok with standard oil they would be fine with synthetic. many cars are factory equipeped with it
i haven't heard that and allot of people i know use it
