Small oil and gas leak on Honda Civic?

My 03 civic has been leaking very small amounts of oil over the past few months, a friend who is a mechanic at Honda checked it and said its bolt that was slightly cracked and should be replaced at my next oil change but no rush.

Today after a weekend of rain I noticed a lot of oil streaking in the driveway and it also smelled a little of gas. I started the car and checked the dipstick, the whole bottom was covered with oil which also looked dirty. I cleaned it off and did it again, same thing.

I've made an appt for it to be looked at tomorrow. What am I looking at? It is just that bolt or is there something now wrong with the gas line? Does the oil just have a similar enough smell to the gas?Small oil and gas leak on Honda Civic?
only a few drops of oil on a rain soaked road can look like alot of oil...so thats not really alarming but the fuel smell is u need to get that checked...sometimes a loose gas cap can cause a fuel smell check that if its not it u need to get that looked at thats very dangerousSmall oil and gas leak on Honda Civic?
Gas smells different from oil.

It might be more than the cracked bolt, it also could be the fuel line.

It is not that hard to replace, it shouldn't cost to much $.

You could even replace it your self (the fuel line) if you had a jack, and some jack stands.
