Will new intake manifold gasket and replaced water pump cause a oil leak in a 2000 Chevy Blazer?

2000 Chevy Blazer had coolant leak, dealer said that intake and water pump were leaking. Dealer replaced intake manifold and gasket, thermosta, water pump and changed oil. A week later notice oil leak and return to dealer who said that the back of the intake was leaking oil, they resealed. Two week later notice oil leak again this time dealer said that both valve cover gaskets, timing cover gasket, transmission pan gasket, transmission housing shaft seal and rear main oil seal are gone. When asked what happen dealer stated new parts cause pressure on the system thus causing gaskets to start leaking. Will new intake manifold gasket and replaced water pump cause a oil leak in a 2000 Chevy Blazer?
There shouldn't be any more pressure on the system because they re-sealed you intake manifold gaskets. Normally when those get done on the 4.3L motor, they have to redo one or both of the valve cover gaskets. Will new intake manifold gasket and replaced water pump cause a oil leak in a 2000 Chevy Blazer?
i tend to agree with THEDRIFT.... the tech messed up...
I won't call anyone a liar. I will just give you the facts. The water pump has nothing to do with oil. The intake acts as a cover over the top of the engine. There is no pressure. It only seals the oil from splashing out. If your engine is making excessive oil pressure (for examle stuck or clogged pcv valve) then their diagnosis is probably correct, and oil pressure should be checked before any other repairs are made. I would get a service manager involved or get a second opinion. That is considering you didn't have these leaks to begin with, though they should have informed you of this when they sold you the first repair.
Sounds like you're getting jerked around by a greedy mechanic.
