ANYONE WHO HAS OWNED A INFINITY G35, EVER HAD AN OIL LEAK AROUND TIMING Cover?

I OWN AN 2003 INFINITY G35 COUPE, WI APPROX 58,000 MILES AND IT DEVELOPED AN OIL LEAK AROUND TIMING COVER. MECHANIC SAID IT WAS BECAUSE OF 2 LOOSE BOLTS ON COVER? JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAD, OR HAS HEARD OF SIMILAR PROBLEM.ANYONE WHO HAS OWNED A INFINITY G35, EVER HAD AN OIL LEAK AROUND TIMING Cover?
Your mechanic is full of crap. Their shouldn't be any oil inside the timing cover. The oil stays inside the engine. You have a leak behind the timing cover. Either the crankshaft or camshaft seal.

Take it to another mechanic and have it diagnosed properly.

Good luck!
