I have a d21 nissan navara and there is an oil leak in the exhaust manifold.?

blows blue smoke at rear.with the dip stick off there is no blow by in there.ive heard that if its the rings then it should be blowing smoke or oil from there too..is that right..I have a d21 nissan navara and there is an oil leak in the exhaust manifold.?
It could be the rings, but the valve seals could be bad. Either way, it isn't an easy fix.I have a d21 nissan navara and there is an oil leak in the exhaust manifold.?
If you adjust the tick over speed so that it is really slow ;if the bores or pistons are badly worn ,as they go over T.D.C the pistons will clap as they flop over, that is where that well known saying originated, your engine is clapped out mate.
Your positive crankcase vent valve could be bad. But more likely you have bad oil rings. There should be no oil in the exhaust manifold.
